- Are your Skins easy to apply?
Yes, our Skins are easy to apply. They are custom designed and cut for each device. They sometimes come in multiple pieces. If you take your time and follow the instructions on this site or with the packaging, you should have no problem making your device distinct and cool looking.
- Are the Skins easy to remove?
Yes, it is very easy to remove the Skin, should you choose to do so. Once removed, however, the Skin will never again adhere quite as well as the first time. Best Buy Skins advises customers to have a new Skin ready to apply to your device immediately.
- Will my device warranty be voided if I customize my device?
Typically if you remove a screw holding the device together or paint your device then you may void the warranty. Our product does neither. The Skin is placed on the original device cover and is easily removed with no traces that it was ever applied.
- How long will my Skin last?
All of our Skins are made out of the best premium grade glossy vinyl, are printed using a special six-color, high resolution process and coated with a clear coating for additional protection.
- How often do you release new designs and support new devices?
We try to release new designs every week, keeping current with the latest trends and styles. We also are constantly working with device manufacturers and retailers to support the latest and greatest devices coming out.
- How do I apply my new Skin?
Step 1 - Read any instructions with the skin before beginning.
Step 2 - Clean Device
- 1. The surface that an Best Buy Skins Skin sticks to needs to be as clean as possible. It is very important to clean your device before applying your Skin - especially for mobile phones.
- 2. First wipe the device surfaces where the Skin will be applied, with a slightly damp cloth. Do not get water directly on your device.
- 3. Let dry completely.
- 4. Next wipe the application service with a cloth slightly dampened with rubbing alcohol. This removes almost any finger print grease.
- 5. Let dry completely.
- Step 3 - Examine Your Best Buy Skins Skin
- 1. Look at your Skin and how it is cut.
- 2. The thin sections easily stretch and/or break if you do not handle the Skin with care during the application process.
- 3. Use caution when removing the Skin from the backing paper.
- 4. Avoid stretching any part of the Skin, especially the narrow parts.
- 5. Stretching the Skin will cause it not to fit the device precisely.
- 6. The adhesive side of the Skin will stick to itself and may cause damage to the Skin.
- Step 4 - Apply Your Best Buy Skins Skin
- 1. It is important to take your time when applying your Skin.
- 2. Pick a starting point on your Skin on the edge (preferably the largest area of the Skin). Gradually peel back the backing paper exposing the adhesive side of the Best Buy Skins Skin.
- 3. Line it up over the top of your device as closely as possible. A good guide is to find a couple of buttons on your device close together and start applying the Skin there.
- 4. Carefully apply the Skin to the device making sure it lines up with all the button openings and curves on your device.
- 5. If the Skin does not line up correctly, carefully peel it off and try again. Make sure not to stretch the Skin or it will no longer fit.
- 6. As you apply the Skin to the device, firmly press the Skin from the middle to the edges, pushing any air bubbles out from under the Skin. To make this easier, you can use a credit card or other plastic card to help apply more even pressure. Be careful not to scratch your Skin.
- 7. When applying the Skin to curves or corners you can gently stretch the Skin to get a very tight fit.
- How do I remove bubbles in my Skin?
Most small creases and bubbles will disappear after time, but if the creases or bubbles are large you may slowly peel the Skin back up and carefully reapply. Keep repeating until the Skin is in its proper place and is smooth. In some cases, poking the bubble gently with a sharp pin will allow the air to escape. This should only be attempted as a last resort. IMPORTANT: Be careful not to lift the skin too quickly or you may stretch or tear the Skin.

- Can I order without a credit card?
We currently only allow online orders using credit cards as the payment method. We expect other payment methods in the near future.
- How do I use a Cellfan/Best Buy Skins Gift Certificate/Pin Card?
- 1. Select the product and design that you wish to purchase
- 2. Add selected product to your shopping cart
- 3. Check out and enter you Gift Certificate/PIN Code on the order payment selection page.
Note: If there is not enough credit on your Gift Certificate/PIN Code, the checkout systemwill ask you to make up the difference using a credit card. If there is a balance remaining on the Gift Certificate/PIN Code after you place your order, you may use it on a future purchase.
- Currency Exchange
Currency exchanges are done at the time of purchase through your credit card company. Please contact your individual issuer for details on their currency conversion rates.

- Best Buy Skins designs and produces all of our products (including, but not limited to, mobile phone Skins, MP3 player Skins, PDA Skins, game device wraps, and misc. device Skins) according to the information supplied by the customer during checkout. Best Buy Skins is not responsible for any error made by the customer (i.e. spelling or typographical errors). All items purchased are custom-made for the customer and are not returnable or exchangeable. When placing your order, please take the time to order accurately and completely and to verify all information provided during checkout and in the order confirmation e-mail sent to you. If there are any errors, please notify us within a day or two so corrections can be made. All returns must be made within 7 days, even for errors.
Due to the unique nature of the printing process the exact color and design displayed on the website may not be printed on the final product. Best Buy Skins reserves the right to change the composition of any selected device design to ensure a quality product. This may involve cropping, stretching, or skewing the design image tooptimize the overall layout.
Best Buy Skins will replace, exchange, or issue a refund/credit only for those items which are deemed to be incomplete or defective by a representative of Best Buy Skins. All items are checked for defects and completeness prior to shipping. You must contact us within 5 days of receipt of your order regarding any defects and/or shortages. If you do not contact us within that time period, your order will be considered complete and to your satisfaction. There will be absolutely no returns or exchanges after 15 days.

- How long will it take to receive my order?
Our products are custom-made for your device and image selection when ordered. We make every attempt to get your Skin made and shipped within 14 business days of your order, but due to a variety of factors your order may be delayed briefly. Shipping times to destinations within the United States, Canada and Mexico typically run 7-10 business days. International orders may take as much as 2-3 weeks - depending on customs, etc.
- How will my order be shipped?
All orders are shipped through the United States Postal Service (USPS). International orders are shipped using USPS Global Mail. United States orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail.
- How much does shipping cost?
The price for shipping varies based on the items and item quantities in your cart. Before you are charged, you will be presented with a final review page that details all shipping, handling, and taxes, which are in addition to the price of the skin.
